Ingredients

  • 6 --- eggs, Room temperature
  • 1 dash Milk
  • 1 tbsp Rice malt syrup
  • 1 --- Peach or Nectarine
  • 2 --- large strawberries
  • 5 --- raspberries
  • 8 --- blueberries
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 --- Cup of water
  • 1 heaped tablespoon Greek or natural yoghurt

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Wet a sheet of baking paper and line the Varoma tray ensuring vents are still exposed at the sides2. Add eggs, milk and rice malt syrup to bowl. Mix 5 sec/Speed 4 3. Pour egg mix into Varoma tray and set aside4. Clean bowl and add berries and peach/nectarine. Chop 3 sec/Speed 35. Add water and chia seeds to bowl and mix 5 min/Temp 100/Speed 16. Reserve 1/4 of the fruit mix and set aside. Swirl the remaining fruit mix through the eggs.7. Clean the bowl and fill with 500ml water8. Place varoma on the bowl with the measuring cup out and cook for 10min/temp Varoma/Speed 19. Fold omelette in half and slice into two serves. Top with remaining fruit and a dollop of greek yoghurt10. Serve and enjoy!  

Tip

Be creative with your fruit fillings! Apple, sultana and cinnamon or Banana and Dates are also delicious!

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
