I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Mix 100g of the flour with the yeast and water sp2 for 1 minute. Allow to stand for 10-15 minutes until the yeast starts to generate bubbles.
Add the melted butter, egg, sugar, salt, and the rest of the flour and mix briefly on sp2. Then knead the dough for 4 minutes/"Closed lid" /"Dough mode" .
Remove the dough from the bowl, place it (in a ball) in a bowl with a little olive oil, and cover with plastic film or a tea towel. Allow it to prove until it doubles in size (around 1-2 hours, depending on the temperature and your yeast).
Knock the dough back, and divide into 10 equal portions - each should weigh around 90-95g if you want the rolls to be evenly sized. Roll each into a ball, and place about 2-3cm apart on a baking sheet covered with baking parchment. Flatten each dough ball (to around 1.5-2cm), and dust the rolls lightly with flour.
Cover the rolls with a tea towel, and prove again for around 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 190 degrees C (375F). Brush the rolls lightly with a beaten egg or some milk, taking care not to flatten them. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15-17 minutes until the rolls are a light golden brown.
If the rolls have joined up during baking, wait till they're cool before tearing them apart.

Absolutely wonderful. Had to make them 85grams each for it to be even. But beautiful in the end. My partner said that dinner was better than Maccas and that's a lot for him 😂
These came out soft
Thank you
I followed the recipe but I used spelt flour but went out so first proof was longer than the recipe says. Hence I did a shorter one for the second proof. These were fabulous, light and perfect with hamburgers. Will definitely make them again.
OMG......I made these for the first time today and they turned out absolutely perfect! Thank you for the recipe.
These burger buns were easy and delicious. Way better than store bought! Will definitely make these again.
Thank you!
My first time making bread rolls and were so easy. Tasted great with the burger patties too!
Awesome, big & soft. Only difference I made to recipe, added 2 teaspoons of bread improver and left out the sugar. Forgot to brush on some milk in my first batch of 5 in oven, but the ubrushed ones looked better. Will definitely make them again.
Great easy recipe nice buns lol
This rolls are really good, so fluffy. I used bread flour instead of all purpose flour and subsituted 2 tsp of water with apple cider vinegar. Makes 10 hearty buns. Thanks for the great recipe!
Thank you! Such an easy recipe and so light and fluffy! My husband loved the touch of the sesame seeds - he's very impressed! Just a note - you should never add salt on top of yeast. Put the salt in last on top of the flour! .
