Ingredients
Tomato & Basil Swirl Bread
Dough
- 500 g Baker's Flour
- 7 g dried instant yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 g warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Filling
- 100 g Sun-dried Tomato
- 1 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- .5 tsp salt
- 40 g fresh basil

- Add warm water, yeast, and sugar to the Thermomix bowl. Mix
"Blend" 2 min | 37°C | Speed 2.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead
"Dough mode" 3 Minutes | Dough Mode.
Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled. - Add sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and salt to the Thermomix bowl. Blend
"Blend" 10 sec | Speed 6. Scrape down and repeat if needed.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread the tomato mixture evenly. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves.
Roll tightly from the long edge to form a log. Cut lengthwise, twist the two halves together, and place in a greased loaf tin. - Cover and let rise for 30-40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
