Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add almonds and walnuts to mixing bowl. Chop 2-3sec/sp 7.

    2. Add all other ingredients to mixing bowl besides orange oil. Blend 40 secs/sp6.

    3. Check consistency by squeezing some of the mixture in your hand. If it is crumbly and the ingredients are not well combined you may need to add a little more coconut oil or blend for a little longer.

    4. Add FOOD GRADE ESSENTIAL orange oil. If you are not sure on the taste start by adding 4-5 drops and blend 3-5sec/sp6. Try mixure and the add more to taste.

    5. Using heaped tablespoons of mixture roll into balls. Keep refridgerated.

Tip

Only use food grade essential oils.
I also like to use peppermint oil as an alternative to orange.
As tastes vary you can add more cacao powder or some chocolate protien powder for a richer chocolate taste.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
