YUM! after trying all the recipes on Cookidoo and finding they all tasted too eggy I had almost given up!

I made this with Coconut sugar, lac free milk and vanilla bean paste and it had almost a caramel taste too it. Kids gobbled it up where they wouldn't touch the Cookidoo ones!

Will try with a little less cornflour some time aswell to make a pouring custard tmrc_emoticons.)

I used almond milk and maple syrup, instead of cow's milk and sugar, still tasted really good. Thanks so much for posting this recipe.

Delicious custard!. I made a little variation. Egg and dairy free chocolate custard using soy milk and adding two tablespoons of cocoa powder. Yum!

Lasts about a week. I make it for school snacks as we aren't allowed to send egg custard due to allergies at school.

G'day! Can these be made in advance and then refrigerated? How long would these last properly covered in the fridge? Thank you! Cheers! Joanne

I just made this to accommodate to family members with other intolerances & used GF corn flour, soy milk & scraped 2 vanilla bean pods as I didn't have the paste. Thanks for a quick and easy recipe  tmrc_emoticons.)
