- 185 grams dates, pitted

- 155 grams Butter
Sugar
- 65 grams sugar
Rice Bubbles
- 90 grams rice bubbles

Add Ginger & chop - 20s sp 5 - 7
Add dates to bowl & chop - 20s sp 5
Add Butter & Sugar (reduce sugar if you wish - it is quite sweet) - melt 6 min 60deg sp "Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" . Check before time runs out & if butter has not melted add more time
Add Rice Bubbles a small amount at a time & occasionally use spatula to push the sides down towards the middle for even distribution of butter mixture - 2 min "Counter-clockwise operation" sp 1
Push into slice tray & place in fridge until set.
Chocolate could be put on top if desired. A ratio of chocolate to copha is aproximately 9 parts to 1 part (150g chocolate to 16g copha). See how to melt chocolate in your Everyday Cookbook.
