Made this for the first time, delicious!
i didn't have fish sauce so used a teaspoon or 2 of veg stock. You don't need 500g breadcrumbs. Will be making this again

These Tuna Patties are super tasty.

I mashed and mixed by hand (I tend to over mix/whip in thermie), added a few capers.

I made some modifications simply to add some more veggies and use up what I had in the kitchen:

    - I added a carrot and a button squash to the onion and sautéed them for 2 mins
    - I left the carrot and onion in when cooking the potato because I’m slack
    - instead of parsley I added dill, lemon zest and a teaspoon of pesto when adding the eggs etc
    - I used half potato half sweet potato
    - I added a fair whack of salt to the mix until it tasted fab

I fried them up in small nuggets and they are being DEVOURED by everyone including my picky husband who normally hates Tuna

Can I get some help on the ingredients please? The recipe says “a bunch of parsley”. Does this mean a whole bunch as you’d buy it at the supermarket, as that seems to be way too much? Would just a few sprigs do? I’m hoping to cook these tomorrow, so would appreciate some help. Thanks.

I don’t use the whisk to mash my potatoes. As long as they have been cooked enough I just mix on speed 3 for around 10-20 seconds keeping an eye on it so that it doesn’t overmix.

Can you mash the potatoes without the butterfly whisk? Unfortunately mine got broken and I havent replaced it yet...
