Recipe's preparation

    Chicken and Sauce
  1. Chop 3 cloves of garlic for 3 seconds on speed 7
  2. Scrape down sides, sauté with 10g of Olive Oil for 3 minutes at 100°C with MC off
  3. Add 400g of Coconut Milk, 2 tubs of Tomato Paste, 2 teaspoons of Garam Marsala, 2 teaspoons of Curry Powder, 1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder (increase if desired), 1 tablespoon of Cornflour and ground pepper to taste. Cook for 5 minutes at 100°C at speed 1 with MC on
  4. Add 500g of chicken breast cut into pieces (I use stir fry pieces). Cook for 15 minutes at 100°C at speed Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 1
  5. Cook for another 10 minutes at 100°C at speed Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 1 without MC, use simmering basket on top to prevent splatters
  6. Serve over steamed rice and enjoy!

Tip

Adjust the amounts of chilli powder as desired. My children happily eat this with the amount of chilli powder in it.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
