I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Slice chicken breast 3/4 way through about 1cm apart
2. place 1 or 2 spinach leaves and a slice of cheese in each cut then sprinkle with smoked paprika and salt and pepper.
3. place on Varoma tray, leaving actual varoma empty.
4. fill "Closed lid" with 500g water, place Varoma on top and cook sp4 varoma temp for 18 mins.
5. At this stage chicken should be not far of cooked depending on size of breasts and how many you use. Add your veges into Varoma and cook for a further 7 mins sp4 on varoma temp.
6. You can then place chicken breasts under grill to crisp up cheese if you choose but it really is personal choice.
Tip
You can use any cheese you like but the dutch smoked gives it a lovely smokey taste.
ALWAYS check that chicken is cooked through and adjust cooking time if necessary.
By all means you can cook the other way round, breast in Varoma and veges on tray if you choose. And use more or less chicken

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
