    Yum!
Did use less star anise and sugar as recommended, and had more meat so cooked longer.

Very nice and easy! Didn't have fresh ginger, so substituted with a teaspoon of ground ginger and no fresh chilies so used a half teaspoon of ground chilies. Also halved the sugar to 100 grams. Drained the liquid and tossed it in over a pre packaged crispy Asian salad. Awesome!

This was far too salty for our taste but I only had 450g of pork, used 1 star anise and 50g sugar

So quick, easy and yummy - just definitely only use MAXIMUM 50grams sugar and even 1 1/2 star anise very potent - would probably go down to 1/2 - 1 next time.  Especially for kids.

    Delicous, quick and easy!

We also reduced the sugar to 50 grams and used two star anise. Served with brown rice and quinoa mix and suggested salad. Will do again. Thank you

Have made this a couple of times now. I reduced the sugar significantly (55g) and put a little less star anise. that was better for my taste. So quick and easy!!

This was really easy when i didnt know what to do with some pork that needed using up! i halved the recipe and threw in 1/2 tb of flour with the pork to thicken it up just a little. was really nice! thanks
