I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Meatballs
  1. Add Onion. Garlic and Bread Crumbs to bowl.

    Speed 5, 5 Seconds

Add rest ingredients, reverseCounter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 20 seconds, Speed 3 until combined.

    Set Aside
  2. Sauce
  3. Without washing bowl add all Sauce ingredients to bowl.

Place potatoes in simmering basket in place and put lid on without MC.

    25 minutes/Varoma/Speed 3

    PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

Once sauce has started heating put Varoma dish in palace and roll meatballs quite small (so they cook through faster and place in varoma)

You have time to do this while its getting to varoma Temp.

If they do not all fit in dish, put some in tray also. Put lid on.

Then start preparing vegetables, harder ones first.. ie carrots.... and add to varoma when ready.

When time is up, put meatballs into thermoserver and pour sauce over. Put lid on for flavours to develop.

If you are lucky enough to have another thermoserver put veg into this otherwise just leave in varoma with lid on.
  4. Mashed Potato
  5. You can rinse the bowl if you want, but I never do, i like the extra flavor in my mask.

    Add butterfly whisk

Tip potatoes from simmering basket to bowl, add milk and butter and Salt. Speed 3-4/20-30 seconds.
  6. Serve and Enjoy

Tip

I love all in one meals and this was a win with all my family.

    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
