I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
**Please note**
Grate your cheese & chop onion, capsicum etc in the Thermomix PRIOR to commencing dough. Have your toppings ready to go.
I recommend using a pizza stone to cook pizza bases - the result is a lovely crisp underside to your base.
Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees, ensuring you place your pizza stones into a COLD OVEN and allow them to heat as the oven pre-heats.
Having already grated your cheese and chopped your toppings, add the Greek Yoghurt to the TM bowl, followed by the SR Flour.
Mix 7 secs / Speed 7 to combine
Greek Yoghurts can vary greatly in their thickness so you may need to add a little more flour (if too sticky) or a little more yoghurt (if too dry) to achieve the right consistancy. The dough should come together and not be sticky to the bowl or excessively to your hands
Empty the dough out onto a lightly floured bench and knead just to bring it together. Divide the mixture into 2 equal halfs (1 half = 1 base)
Remove your now-hot pizza stones from the oven and place onto a cooling rack to add toppings. CAREFUL - pizza stones retain heat for an extensive time and at high temperatures.
Return your topped pizza bases (on their pizza stones) to the oven and bake at 180 degrees for approx 20 mins. Cooking may vary by a few minutes depending on the thickness of your dough and how brown you like it. Lift the edge of your dough with a spatula to check the crispness of your base - add extra time if you like it extra crispy!
THIS RECIPE WILL MAKE TWO LARGE PIZZA BASES
Tip
You can use an ordinary pizza tray if you like, however the nice crispy base is achieved using the pizza stone.

TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This was way too thick for my personal tastes but I think it would do 4 thin bases really well
Great recipe thanks. I got two pizzas and two flat breads. Could have done four pizzas i think. I also added mixed herbs and garlic powder to the mix and it was great. Thanks for sharing.
We found this delicious. However we got more than the 2 pizzas, we got 3 and still could have made it into four bases, however we do like them thinner. Thanks for a great recipe.
WOW, how easy and quick! Great for when we're short on time! It had a nice crust. I ran out of greek yoghurt so I topped it up with the vanilla one.. didn't have SRF so used normal flour with baking powder.. it worked well so it's good to see that a tweek here and there to suit our pantries can also work.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Very picky kids who never eat the pizza base loved it! Even fussy Husband said how light and fluffy the base was! New new go to recipe, so quick and easy! Thank you so much!
Great Recipe!
I had run out of yeast and running late for dinner and my other yeast-free recipe takes a little bit of time so I thought we would give this one a go - gobbled up by my hubby & 4 boys, two of which normally just pick the toppings off and not eat the base! Under 5 minutes I was rolling it out, such a quick, easy, filling recipe! I used a combination of wholemeal and white spelt flour and added 2 tsp of baking powder, turned out fantastic.
Easiest and fastest pizza base out there. For first use it was a winner. It's convinced me to get a pizza stone to make it even better. thanks for sharing.
Love this quick and easy pizza base. Is perfect in the wood fired pizza oven.
YUM! Made this for tea tonight & used 1/2 Sundried Tomato + Garlic bread flour & 1/2 plain SR Flour; lovely & went down a treat Might make the base a bit thinner next time, but it seemed to be liked by all!
Thanks for posting a great recipe!
I had no idea how this would turn out but it was perfect!!! So super easy and the comments I received were this is the best home made pizza I have ever had. Will definitely add to favourites. I didn't have a pizza stone so just used a nirmal baking tray and it was really crispy on the bottom. I think the key is to put the tray in the oven first to heat up if you are just using this.
