Ingredients

Granola

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 125 g Maple syrup
  • 125 g olive oil
  • 400 g rolled oats
  • 40 g pepitas
  • 20 g Coconut Flakes (or shredded)
  • 30 g chia seeds
  • 200 g dried cranberries and raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Pre heat oven to 150C.

    2. Line 2 shallow baking trays with baking paper.

    3. Chop walnuts roughly 3 seconds/speed 4, & put aside.

    4. Add oil and maple syrup to TM,  cook 3 mins/100/speed 1, liquid should be just starting to bubble.

    5.Add oats,quinoa,nuts,pepitas,coconut,chia,cinnamon,salt, brown sugar and dried fruits to TM and mix 3 mins/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"  or until well combined.

    6. Spread granola mix on prepared trays and bake in oven for 30-40 mins. Stir every 10 minutes to prevent over cooking fruit. Leave on trays to cool completely.

    7. Store in airtight container. Serve as breakfast cereal with milk or yoghurt. 

Tip

Delicious as a dessert and served with ice cream!

May be  packaged up in cellophane bags & given as a gift also.
