Ingredients

  • 250 g longlife noodles
  • 100 g Vermicelli rice noodles
  • 1500 g water
  • 4 Chinese sausages
  • 250 g chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cabbage, cut into thin slices
  • 2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 Capsicum, cut into thin slices
  • 2 stalks Celery, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 1 onion, cut into thin slices
  • 2 garlic
  • 40 g oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable stock
  • 5 g pepper, to taste
  • 5 g tamari sauce, to taste
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lemon, cut into slices

Recipe's preparation

    Softening noodles
  1. 1. in ThermoServer, fill with boiling water

    2. place noodles in ThermoServer and put lid on

    3. set aside for noodles to soften

  2. Steaming vegetables and cooking meat
  3. 1. cut up vegetables (celery, carrots, cabbage and capsicum) and place in Varoma dish with lid

    2. place Chinese sausages and chicken thighs in simmering basket

    3. place 1000g of water in bowl and place simmering basket with Chinese sausages and chicken thighs

    4. place varoma dish on top

    5. cook for 25mins, varoma, sp1

    6. transfer vegetables into ThermoServer

    7. remove Chinese sausages and chicken

    8. slice Chinese sausages thinly

    9. slice chicken into strips

     

  4. Putting it all together
  5. In a large bowl, add:

    1. drain noodles

    2. vegetables

    3. oyster sauce, vegetable stock, pepper and tamari

    Mix altogether with a couple of wooden spoons.

    4. garnish with eggs and lemon slices

Tip

For extra flavour, add crushed pork crackling.

This dish can be created in the TM21, TM31 and the TM5.
