My daughter is addicted to almond spread, the store bought one we tried has 19g of sugar per 100g 😮 made this one with a squeeze of honey and she loves it. Great recipe, thanks for sharing it.

almond butter - I know it doesn't mention about activating the nuts overnight and drying them out the next day. But I'm gonna try zthat first and see if that makes any difference.

Great recipe thanks!  I needed the coconut oil to turn it into a 'butter'

Excellent recipe!  So simple and good.  I added a bit of Celtic sea salt, at my spouse's request, and a little more coconut oil because she likes it smoother.  Tastes great and the texture is spot on!  tmrc_emoticons.-)

Hi Foxylady! No, I don't skin the almonds, I just chuck them straight in raw and blitz them up. I supposed you could make a creamier version with skinned almonds? I just buy the cheap raw almonds and I quite like the taste and texture with skins on. Hope that helps?  Glasses

Do you skin the almonds before blitzing?
