Recipe's preparation

    Mixing jam
  1. 1. Place all ingredients in TM bowl and process for 5 seconds, speed 4 (or chop to your preferred consistency).

    2. Place in a clean jar and refrigerate overnight so that jam can set (chia seeds become sticky and hold jam together).

Tip

Jam will only keep in the fridge for a few days.  Can be frozen.

Thanks to my customer Sharryn for sharing this recipe with me.  It is delicious and is a healthier alternative to conventional jams that are loaded with sugar.

love that i dont have to cook jam! i used mixed berries and rice malt syrup and added a squeeze of lemon juice. Turns out exactly like jam! I freeze excess in ice cube trays and just defrost overnight when i want it.

I've taken to making smaller lots, so that I don't waste any tmrc_emoticons.) Really yummy and easy to make a range of flavour combinations.

Made this with homegrown plums and it is devine! I cooked the plums for 10mins on 100c first though.
