For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Lovely recipe and a great way to use up home grown tomatoes. I added 4 cloves garlic and mixed herbs, and just used olive oil. The bay leaves give it a really nice flavour also. This recipe after cooking produced about 700g tomato paste. I put in the Kmart silicon 6 fingerbun tray and froze. One slab should be good for pizza topping or any other recipe requiring Tom paste.
