I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Cut carrot into pieces, grate for 5 sec at sp 5. Add apple (does not need to be peeled), grate 4 sec on speed 4.5.
2. Add banana and mix 5 sec on speed 5.
3. Add oil, milk & egg 10sec/"Counter-clockwise operation" sp5.
4. Add wholemeal flour, oats and the raising agent. Mix 5 sec "Counter-clockwise operation" on speed 4. Scrape bowl down and repeat for another 2 sec.
5. If you are adding sugar, do this in step 4. I forgot, and they still tasted quite nice. Adding chopped dates, sultanas or choc chips would make them even better!
6. Preheat oven to 165°C fan forced.
7. Divide the mix into 12-16 muffin moulds (I used my silicone moulds and got more than 12 out of the mix. The recipe I modified said it would yield 12).
8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Test with a skewer, or take them out when they bounce back to a light touch. Remove from oven and cool for a bit, then put them on a wire rack and let them cool all the way. Or eat them warm - yummy! - I didn't invent this recipe, but I was playing around. I used (most of) the ingredients from Just a Mum (https://justamumnz.com/2014/08/25/tasty-apple-banana-carrot-rolled-oats-muffins/), and converted them to the Thermomix. I used the ABCD School Muffins recipe by Karli78 as a guide for how to mix it all together. Thank you both for your inspiration!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
