Thi is so yummy!!!!! Instead of apple, I used a pear and diced it - so delicious because there were the chunks perfectly cooked. I only used about 3/4 of each sugar.
My whole family loved this loaf. No instructions for the apple, so I peeled, cored and quarted a large apple then diced for 5secs speed 5, removed from bowl and set it aside. There was a bit too much of the brown sugar and cinnamon on top for my tastes, so I'll reduce that next time. Will definitely make this again!!!
This seems to be missing instructions for the apple.... should it be chopped, grated or blitzed in the bowl? I can't seem to see a reference to it other than 'Add the apple and sultanas'....
This loaf had a nice flavour with the cinnamon and brown sugar but was a little dry. Don't think I will make again!
