Loaf Mixture
- 225g Raw buckwheat groats
- 220g raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder.
- 1/2 teaspoon Bi-Carb Soda (Baking Soda)
- 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon.
- 250g ripe bananas, mashed, approx 3 bananas
- 1 egg
- 140g plain yoghurt
- 60ml Grapeseed Oil
- 80ml Maple syrup
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C. Lightly grease a loaf tin and line the base with baking paper.
2. Mill buckwheat in TM bowl for 9 secs/Speed 10
3. Add sugar, baking powder, Bicarb-soda and Cinnamon to TM bowl mix for 5 secs /"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 3
4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix 20 secs / "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 3
5. Pour mixture into loaf tin. Bake for 60 - 70 mins - until skewer comes out clean
optional - Brush with extra maple syrup to serve

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
