Ingredients

Loaf Mixture

  • 225g Raw buckwheat groats
  • 220g raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bi-Carb Soda (Baking Soda)
  • 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon.
  • 250g ripe bananas, mashed, approx 3 bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 140g plain yoghurt
  • 60ml Grapeseed Oil
  • 80ml Maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. 1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees C. Lightly grease a loaf tin and line the base with baking paper.

     

    2. Mill buckwheat in TM bowl for 9 secs/Speed 10

     

    3. Add sugar, baking powder, Bicarb-soda and Cinnamon to TM bowl mix for 5 secs /Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 3

     

    4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix 20 secs / Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 3

     

    5. Pour mixture into loaf tin.  Bake for 60 - 70 mins - until skewer comes out clean

     

    optional - Brush with extra maple syrup to serve

     

Tip

Delicious warm and is also moist and firm for lunchboxes the following day!

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
