I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
This is a variation of the family favourite, Anzac biscuits - I find the slice quick, easier and I get more consistent results with my dodgy oven!
Pre-heat oven to 160'C. Line tray with baking paper.
Heat butter and golden syrup into TM bow "Closed lid" l for 2 mins, 60'C on speed 3 (or until dissolved). Add bicarbonate soda for last 5 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients and mix for 30 seconds on Interval speed "Dough mode" . Turn out into slice tin and flatten with silicon spatula. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and mark into pieces. Cool for 5-10 minutes in pan then transfer to wire rack.
Tip
I have a dodgy oven (did I mention that?) and so I tend to keep an eye on my baking rather than use a strict time...

Nice. Added a pinch of salt too. Would reduce the sugar a little next time. Much easier than rolling biscuits out!
Feeling slightly amused, dropped the slice when turning it out and it fell to pieces. still tasted good
Hubby loves anzac biscuits and he loved this. I too used half the sugar quantity with rapadura. Will be making this again for sure! thanks!!!!
A great recipe, beats having to roll balls for biscuits. Thanks

Made this this arvo for one of my girls class Xmas party. I only used 150gm of rapadura sugar and added some choc chips. My kids loved it!
Love this! It is my go to if I have a friend pop in for coffee and I am caught without any treats to offer. I make it with 150g of sugar and it is perfect

I cooked it for the 20 mins and was a bit dry so i'd reccomend to only cook fo the 15 min's. Was yummy still.
