Ingredients

Ginger Bread Loaf

  • 115 grams Butter
  • 170 gram sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 325 grams golden syrup
  • 240 grams Milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
  • 115 grams warm water
  • 400 grams flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven on bake at 150°C

    Heat syrup 5mins 50°C speed 2, add milk and mix on speed 2 for 10 seconds. Pour into a bowl and set aside.
  2. Add butter and sugar beat on speed 5 for 5 secs
    Scrape and repeat
  3. Add ginger, cinnamon and eggs mix 5seconds speed 5
  4. Add flour and syrup mixture and mix 10 seconds speed 4
  5. Dissolve baking soda in the warm water and add to mix. Mix speed 3 for 5 seconds
  6. Divide between 2 loaf tins bake at 150°C for 1hour
