I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place butter, sugars and vanilla in TM bowl. Cream together for 1 minute on speed 3-4. With TM still running, add egg through hole in lid and continue mixing on speed 3-4 for 30 seconds. Add flour and salt, knead on interval speed for 30 seconds. Add chocolate chips, stir through with spatula. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture on trays, leaving room for spreading. Bake in moderate oven for 10-12 minutes.
Tip
This is a family favourite Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, converted to turn out perfectly in the Thermomix. It took a few tweaks to get it just right, I'm starting to learn that cake/cookie mixture needs to be handled in a certain way in the Thermomix to get the same results as with a mix master. These cookies are delicious with a soft and chewy center and crisp outside. Usually we make them with dark chocolate chips, but these ones are made using Reese's Pieces that Ty and Sam brought back for us from the USA. We have a HUGE bag of them and I don't really like them for eating on their own, but they are yum to cook with!

Made 32 biscuits. Good value
Of course I re read the recipie after putting them in the oven. I missed putting in the vanilla... busy with kids. Stopping and starting. I'm sure they will still be yum. Very quick and easy recipe too. Thanks for sharing
Better than any other choc chip cookie by far. The only change I made was raw sugar instead of white. The mix was a little dry (probably the egg size) but extra mixing solved this plus I stirred the chips in with the thermo. I loved the ever so slight taste of salt too. This will be my go too cookie recipe. Thank you.
Absolutely true to its name, these are the absolute best, thanks so much for this recipe
Easy and delicious!
The texture is great but it has a saltiesh taste. Next time I'll omit the salt and add more vanilla, I'll also use milk chocolate chip instead of dark.
i did some modifications: melt butter first, chill dough in the fridge for an hour and only used 50g sugars
P.S: this is the first time ever I'm baking cookies so don't mind the shape
Little girl LOVED these easy and quick to make
Great! Got fav reviews from work colleagues.
Very easy to make.
Kind of crunchy outside and soft and chewy inside.
Kept the sugar quantities as per the recipe though
Definitely need to reduce the salt, 1/2 tsp was too much for us. Will reduce to 1/4 next time.
I loved this recipe - Biscuits were fluffy and not flat and tasted delicious. I reduced both sugars to 60g and they were still sweet enough for us
That's really THE BEST RECIPE EVER I cooked 170 fan forced perfect
