I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Add Raw Cashews to the Thermomix bowl and chop on Turbo/.5 (half a sec) (repeat until you have desired consistency). Set Aside
2. Add Salted Butter and Golden Syrup to the mixing bowl and cook for 6 mins/120 degrees/speed 2
3. Add Madjool Dates and Dried Sour Cherries and mix on 4 secs/speed 5
4. Add Rolled Oats, Currents, Cranberries, Sunflower Seeds, Chopped Cashews and Salt Flakes and mix for 25 secs/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 2
1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees
2. Line a baking tin (I use a lasagne tray) with baking paper.
3. Spread mixture into tray by placing cling wrap over the top of it and pushing into the corners. Push it out as flat and even as you can.
4. Place into hot oven and bake for 30 mins or until golden brown. These will be crunchy, so pull check on them earlier if you like them a little soft.
5. Once cooked let them cool for a few minutes before cutting into bars. Use a hot knife and cut into between 18 and 24 bars depending on the size you like.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
