Ingredients
Vanilla Donuts
- 60 grams Butter
- 2 --- eggs
- 200 grams Milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 240 grams plain flour
- 110 grams white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Half tsp salt
Glaze
- 160 grams icing sugar
- 1 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoons Milk

- Pre heat oven to 170 degrees. Add butter, melt 2 minutes, 80 degrees, speed 2
- Add Eggs, Milk & Vanilla. Combine 5 seconds, speeed 5
- Add Flour, Sugar, Baking powder & Salt. Combine 5 seconds, speed 3.5
- Scrape down & repeat 3 seconds, speed 3.
- Spoon batter into the donut tray or use cupcake pen/piping bag and pipe batter into tray.
- Bake at 170 for 8-10 minutes. Cool in tray for approx 5 minutes before turning onto wire rack to cool completely.
- Clean & dry mixing bowl. Add glaze ingredients - icing sugar, vanilla & milk to bowl. Combine 5 seconds, speed 5. Add food colouring as desired. Add small amount of extra milk or icing sugar if necessary to obtain desired consistency.
- Dip cooled donuts in glaze and add sprinkles if desired.

Recipe can be halved for 6 donuts

Made a half batch and cooked in my donut maker, I didn't even get them out before I had my eldest telling me they smelt good and stealing one hot, I did manage to get some iced but be lucky if there are any left now though.
