Tip

I use this cookie dough recipe as a base for all biscuits I make. Simply add

200g choc chips or

100g almonds (blitzed) and 100g choc chips

200g smarties

Jam for jam drops

Milo/cocoa for choc cookies

A great egg free alternative is to add one banana in place of 2 eggs. Brown sugar makes a nice substitute for sugar also.

Ideas are endless, have a play and see what you like. Great for the kids to get adventurous!

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Great recipe thanks Amber! Super quick and easy! My son and I cooked these today in my TM6.

We added 70g white choc chips, 70g blitzed dried apricots & 60g of shredded coconut. The flavour is delicious! We made some aeroplane cookie shapes (the dough is very moist for cookie cutters but we managed, perhaps next time I would try refrigerating the dough for 30mins) and some balls which were super easy to roll and bake.

I baked the aeroplane ones for 6-8 minutes and the balls for 8-10 mins.
