  • Whole head of garlic
  • 250g boiling water
  • 2 tbsp fennel seed
  • 250g apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups raw sugar

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1 whole head of garlic peeled and chopped - 3 sec / speed 8
    Pour 250g boiling water over garlic and pour into a container covered overnight
  2. Next day
    Add 2 TBSP fennel seed to bowl
    Add 250g apple cider vinegar
    Place simmering basket on top and boil until reduced to half - 15 min / Varoma / speed 1
    Add the garlic mixture to the bowl
    Add 2 cups of raw sugar to the bowl
    Heat slowly through until sugar dissolves - 7 min / Varoma / slowest speed
    Keep in screw top container in the fridge and use as needed

Tip

Smells the house out but very effective in combatting colds/coughs
