Ingredients

Bliss balls

  • 40 g Finely chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon Cocao powder, (Or you could use cocoa powder)
  • 130 g pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons Agave, Honey or rice malt syrup
  • 90 g pecan nuts

Recipe's preparation

  1. chop almonds & pecans on spd 5 2 bursts of 30sec until finely chopped. remove from bowl

    Place the dates, cacao powder and peanut butter into the Closed lid"Closed lid" Blend on Speed 6 for 20 seconds or until mixture resembles a paste.

    Add the almonds and pulse on Turbo for 6sec until desired chunkiness is achieved (don’t leave it too long or it will turn into a liquidy mess!!!).

    add 2tbs of agave syrup and pulse to mix through. the mixture should be a little sticky and roll easily into balls.

    For best results store in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within a week

Tip

I chop my nuts up in bulk and store in the freezer for when I need to use them.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
