Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Place mango, lime juice, vodka and maple syrup into mixing bowl. Blend 30secs/sp3.
    2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. This is the time to taste and add more syrup if you prefer it to be sweeter.
    3. Pour in sparkling wine. Wait until wine settles and bubbles disappear.
    4. Mix for 30 secs/sp2.
    5. Pour into glasses and serve with a slice of Lime or Pineapple.

Tip

~Can substitute sparkling wine for sparkling water or lemonade to lower alcohol content.
~If using frozen mango, wait until it is partially defrosted. If it is still frozen you will need to add more liquid to the first step and use your spatula to aid mixing.
~You can substitute the frozen mango for other fruits, eg. Strawberries, Pineapple etc
~You can substitute maple syrup for raw sugar for a similar result.
~Ensure you wait until the wine settles to ensure that the bowl doesn't overflow during mixing.
~If you like a little heat in your cocktails you can add 1 tsp of chilli to step 1.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
