Ingredients

Bec’s Pork Dumplings

  • 400 grams cabbage, chopped in chunks
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger or 1 knob of fresh
  • 1 carrot, Chopped into chunks
  • 100 grams fresh mushrooms
  • 500 grams pork mince
  • 20 grams soy sauce
  • 10 grams Chinese Rice Wine
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 egg
  • 3 packages dumpling wrappers

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add 400g cabbage, roughly chopped, and chop 10 sec/speed 4. Remove into a bowl
  2. 2. Add 5 cloves garlic, 1tbs minced ginger, 1 carrot, chopped into large chunks 100g mushrooms and chop 10 sec/speed 9 until well chopped. (Scrape down and repeat if needed)
  3. 3. Add 500g pork mince, 20g soy sauce, 10g Chinese rice wine, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp white pepper, 1 tbs sesame oil, 1 egg and cabbage back in. Mix 1 min/speed 4
  4. 4. Fill your dumplings wrappers by placing 1 tsp of pork mixture into the middle, wiping the edges with a little water and pleating together (I learnt from YouTube)
  5. 5. Steam in the varoma 13 min/Varoma/speed 1

Tip

Serve with your favourite sauce.
