Ingredients
Baked Beans
- 1 red onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 can 425g cannellini beans or navy beans
- 1 can 400g chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- a pinch of salt and pepper

1. Peel and cut the red onion into quarters and place into the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3-4 sec/speed 5.
2. Scrape down the bowl and saute for 3 mins/Varoma/speed 1 until translucent.
3. Insert the butterfly and add all the other remaining ingredients and slow cook for 30 mins/100/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 using the basket on top instead of the measuring cup.
4. Eat and enjoy! Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for a few days.

Tip
Tastes great with sweet potato wedges or on home made bread.

These were great and really easy - only change I made was to add 2 tins of cannellini beans
Recipe was ok, flavorless beans in a sweet tomato sauce.
