Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel and roughly chop all iingredients

    cook at 90*C for 30 min on slow speed

    allow to cool for 10-15 min 

    puree on speed 10 to desired consistency (less as the child gets older)

Tip

Freezes well, only fill containers 3/4 full to allow expansion.

    Hi, I only just saw this. I used 1/2 a jap pumpkin (small) but it would have been about 1.5 cups chopped. Sorry for the delay.

    Liz, did you end up getting an answer .. 1/2 a pumpkin is not quite an indication of how much pumkin is needed - they vary in sizes an varieties so much ?

    A perfect mix for my 5 1/2 month old granson .. . I did not have pumpkin and it was still great if doubling the butternut! Love ! A great variation  is to leave the pear/apple out and add baby spinach and peas - a handfull of each!
