TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Hi, I left the middle layer to cool for 10 minutes but it was still quite runny so when I poured it onto the base and put the topping on top it sunk into the middle layer. Any advice of avoiding this? It was quite hot the day I made it (around 30 deg). Perhaps the caramel layer should be poured onto the base then put in the fridge for a little while so it firms up a little then add the topping and put back in the oven? Or would it be the brand of condensed milk?
very very sweet but so delious, mine didnt set but i think that was due to making the condensed milk then adding the caramal filling in without allowing the condensed milk to set first. will be making this again and again. thank you for sharing
Easy and delicious! The biscuit base is perfect. I used about 1/3 less sugar and still sweet, caramel goodness.
So delicious 😋
The base was deliciously short, with the caramel soft and sweet.
like others have said, it's hard to stop at one piece.
Wow, this slice was delicious! We did try it while it was still warm but it was so much better once cooled in the fridge. I made the base, and while it was in the oven, I made my own condensed milk then continued with the rest of the recipe. Will make again for sure! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
So for some reason, it gets better the longer it's in the fridge. Have to say, we ate the last piece tonight though 😂
Fantastic recipe, will definitely make this one again! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Karin_B:hard to stop at one piece isn't it!
Thermolinnie: thanks
Shell Phillips: thank you Yes i too think it can be reduced further, the above is reduced from the original recipe even!
My first slice made in TM ......... nice & easy as well as delicious 😋
Did cut down on the sugar content in the base & topping.
