Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 deg C.

Melt butter and chocolate for 5 minutes, 50 deg, speed 1.  Add sugar and vanilla and mix for 1 minute on speed 4, adding the eggs one at a time.  Add the flour and mix for 10 seconds, speed 4 and scrape down the sides.  Mix again for 10 seconds on speed 4.  If adding nuts or choc chips add and mix for 20 seconds, reverse speed 1.  Pour into a lined square tin and bake for 30 minutes.

Tip

I use the five minutes while the chocolate and butter are melting to do dishes or unload the dishwasher. Any type of nuts, choc chips, even white choc chips work well. Allow to cool, sprinkle icing sugar over the top and cut into squares.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Yummy brownies!!! Thank you for sharing this easy & quick recipe. I don't like to use so much sugar when making slices for the kids so only used 110g of sugar and it was still sweet enough, next time I will try it with 90g of sugar. Great recipe & recommended  Cooking 1
