Ingredients
- 370 g caster sugar
- 80 g cocoa powder
- 60 g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 250 g unsalted butter cubed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract or 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 200 g dark chocolate buttons or choc chips

Preheat oven to 160 degrees, fan forces (315 F /Gas 2-3)
Line baking tin with greaseproof paper
Mill sugar for 3 seconds on speed 9, set aside
Melt butter for 3 mins, 90 degrees on speed 3
Add all ingredients except the choc bits (buttons or chips) and mix for 25 seconds on speed 3
Add the buttons/choc chips and mix for 10 seconds on reverse, speed 3 "Counter-clockwise operation"
Using the spatula, scrape the mixture into the greaseproof lined baking tin.
Bake for 45 minutes
TO SERVE
Vanilla icecream
Cocoa powder for dusting
Choc Chip Brownies
Tip
Mill sugar in 2 batches - 200g and 170g, set aside
