  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 65 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 135 g rolled oats
  • 180 g plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 75 g choc chips

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Pre-heat oven to 180 C. Line two baking tray.

  2. 2.  Chop butter into cubes. Melt 50 C / 3 min / sp 2.

  3. 3.  Add sugars. Mix 20 sec / sp 2.

  4. 4.  Add egg. Mix 5 sec / sp 3.

  5. 5.  Add oats, flour, Bicarb and vanilla. Mix 20 sec / Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Sp  2 until combined. 

  6. 6.  Add choc chips. Mix 20 sec / Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" sp 2 until mixed through.

  7. 7.  Placed rounded tablespoons of cookie dough on trays. Flatten gently using back of MC.

  8. 8.  Bake for 15 mins until lightly brown. Leave to cool on tray for 2 mins before transferring to a cooling rack.

Tip

Dried fruit can be substituted for the choc chips.

Cookies can be frozen for lunch boxes.
