Ingredients
Teacake
- 65 g Butter softened
- 100 g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 140 g Self Raising Flour
- 80 g Milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 140 g dark chocolate chips
Topping
- 1 teaspoon Drinking chocolate powder
- 10 g Butter melted
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar

Pre-heat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 4.5cm deep, 20cm round cake pan. Line base and side with baking paper.
Place butter and sugar in bowl and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds.
Add egg and vanilla and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds.
Add flour and milk and mix on speed 5 for 10 seconds.
Add choc chips and cocoa and mix "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 5 for 8 seconds.
Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Level top.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Stand in pan for 5 minutes. Turn, top-side up, onto a wire rack.
Combine drinking chocolate and sugar in a bowl. Brush hot cake with butter. Sprinkle with chocolate mixture. Cool. Serve with cream.
