I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Prepare a 23 cm square tin, or round if you prefer. I have also made these as cup cakes.
Put all cake ingredients into TM bowl and mix on speed 6 for 40 seconds, or until mixture looks nice and smooth.
Pour mixture into prepared cake tin and cook in oven for 50 minutes approximately, test with a skewer, when it comes out clean your cake is cooked. Stand for 5 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack until cooled.
Sour Cream Glaze: Put your dark chocolate and unsalted butter into your clean TM bowl. Melt for 2 minutes on speed 2, 50 degrees. Scrape down sides and repeat if the ingredients aren't melted for another 50 seconds, on the same speed.
When they are nicely melted, add inot the bowl with the chocolate and butter the icing sugar and sour cream, mix for 1 minute, speed 3, 100 degrees. Cool glaze and pour over cooled cake
Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
Preheat conventional oven to 180 degrees.
Tip
This was an all time family favourite pre thermomix times from my very well used Womens Weekly cookbook. Depending on your oven it may take longer than the 50 minutes to cook. Very easy and very delicious and moist.

Comments
A huge cake, but mine is not overly moist. Will give it another go and cook a few mins less.
