I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- ☆ Preheat oven on 180°c
☆ Insert butterfly whisk and add 180g butter, 1 & 1/2 cups of brown sugar and 2 eggs to the bowl and blend for 15 seconds on speed 4.
☆ scrape down the sides of the bowl and blend on speed 4 for a further 5 seconds.
☆ Add remaining ingredients and blend for 10 seconds on speed 4.
☆ Scrape down the sides of the bowl and blend for a further 5 seconds.
☆ Scoop out biscuit mixture into small round circles until all mixture has been used - don't exceed 6 per tray as they do grow in size. (The total quantity will depend on how big/small you make the size of your biscuits
☆ Bake biscuits for 15-20 minutes. They wwill begin to "crack" on top.
☆ Remove them from the oven when they are still gooey to touch and let cool. (They will firm up when cooled and be moist and soft to eat)
Method
Tip
Be sure to remove biscuits when they are still soft to touch and they appear to have "cracked" on top.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
