Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Delicious. I make this often. Tried carrot instead of apple with 60g of craisins. Thank you for posting. 😋
Absolutly amazing, super moist, I didnt have butter milk so just used the lite milk I had in fridge. Yummo. Will be making again.
Used little less sugar and butter as per comments
Probably better to use softened butter
Needed extra 15 mins cooking time (increased to 180 for last 15 mins)
My daughter just said ‘this is the yummiest cake you have ever made!’
I reduced the butter & sugar as per other’s suggestions. I only had pink lady apples so used 1 of those & lite milk instead of buttermilk but clearly still a hit!
Lovely cake. Reduced the sugar down to 80g, still plenty sweet enough. Thanks.
This is a great, moist cake. Had to fight my husband for a piece, and he doesn't normally eat this kind of thing!
This was delicious and a rel hit with the kids
This is YUM!!! moist and light and just delish.
I also half the sugar and butter amounts to 65g each as per previous comments.
I have made this recipe a few times now and its delicious! Great use of any left over or over ripe bananas and apples. The whole family love it!
