Ingredients

Slice

  • 125 g Butter
  • 170 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 160 g self-raising flour
  • 50 g Desiccated Coconut

Icing

  • 180 g icing sugar
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 20 g Butter
  • 30 g hot water

Recipe's preparation

    Slice
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a slice tin (18 x 22 cm) with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Place butter into mixing bowl and melt 2 min/50 deg/speed 2.
  3. Add sugar and egg and beat 10 sec/speed 3.
  4. Add cocoa, vanilla, flour and coconut and combine, 10 sec/reverse/speed 4.
  5. Spread thinly into prepared tin and bake for 20 min at 180 deg.
  6. Icing
  7. Place all icing ingredients into mixing bowl, 10 sec/speed 3, scrape down and repeat if necessary.
  8. Ice slice while still hot.
  9. Place into fridge until cool, then cut into 24 slices. Enjoy!

Tip

Slice freezes well in individual portions!
