Ingredients

  • 200 grams Butter
  • 200 grams good quality chocolate, (I use 70% Lindt)
  • 95 grams rapadura or coconut sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 145 grams nut meal, (You can use the pulp from making nut milk)
  • 50 grams chopped nuts of your choice

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 170-180 degrees.

    2. Add chocolate to the bowl. Mill for 5 secs, sp 8. Scrape down sides of bowl and add butter.

    3. Melt butter and chocolate together for 4 minutes, 50 degrees, speed soft until melted.

    4. Add sugar, salt and vanilla. Mix for 30 secs on speed 2.

    5. Turn dial to speed 3. Add eggs one at a time through the hole in the thermomix lid over a 30 second duration.

    6. Add nut meal. Mix for 10 secs on speed 3.

    7. Add chopped nuts. Mix for 10 secs, reverse, speed 3.

    8. Pour into a lined slice tin. Bake for 25-30 mins. Allow to cool in pan before slicing.

     

Tip

I have made this with both almond and macadamia meal and both were delicious. I keep mine in the fridge and they change to an amazing fudgy texture. Enjoy!
