Recipe's preparation

    Icing
  1. Place sugar into TM bowl and pulverise for 30 sec / speed 10

Transfer icing sugar into a bowl and then weigh 150g back into the TM bowl and set the rest aside.

Insert butterfly, add egg white, beat 1 min / speed 3

Transfer icing into a bowl, cover & set aside

  2. Biscuits
  3. Place butter, remaining icing sugar, honey & spices into mixing bowl, heat up for 5 min / 100C / speed 1

Add flour, baking powder, egg and knead / 1 min / speed 4

Let dough cool for 2 hours (I sometimes skip this & it  still works)

Roll out dough on floured surface to approx 5mm thickness and cut biscuits with cookie cutters or the MC

Bake in preheated oven for approx 10 mins / 180C. Be careful not to overcook as the honey burns easily!

Super easy and the recipe made ALOT! The dough was easy to work with and super yummy! What a awesome blend: honey biscuits and gingerbread. The method does mention baking powder but this is not listed in the ingredients? I didn't use baking powder and they were fine. Thanks for sharing.

These are lovely, and make heaps! The house also fills with the aroma of honey and spices, which is lovely!! tmrc_emoticons.) You just need to add how much baking powder is required. I took a guess and used 1 tbs. based on a recipe I found in thermomix's My Way of Cooking. Thank you for posting!
