Dough
- 150 g marzipan
- 200 g Butter, Use margarine if you want Dairy Free
- 80 g icing sugar
- 2 level tsp caster sugar
- 1 level tbsp vanilla extract
- 300 g plain flour, Use Gluten Free Flour for Gluten Free
- 2 tsp Milk
- 1 packages sliced almonds

- Place 150g marzipan in bowl in peices and "Blend" Blend for 5 seconds on speed 8.
- Add butter (or margarine), icing sugar, caster sugar, vanilla extract and flour. Place lid/cup on and "Blend" blend for 30 seconds on speed 5.
- Scrape down sides of bowl and put on "Dough mode" knead for 40 seconds.
- Pour dough on kitchen bench, form into ball, split dough into 3 sausages and wrap individually. Place in fridge for 2 hours to chill.
(or put in freezer for 15 minuts if your in a rush) - Preheat oven to 175°
- Cut sausages into 1cm slices and place on oven tray lined with grease proof baking paper. Brush with milk and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Bake for 10 minutes. When removed from oven they will be soft, but leave to cool and they will firm up.
