Ingredients
- 4cm piece ginger, peeled
- 250 g Margarine or Soft Butter
- 250 g caster sugar
- 100 g cream
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 500 g flour

Preheat oven to 180 deg
Place ginger into "Closed lid" TM bowl, 3sec speed 7, scrape down sides of bowl
Place all other ingredients into the TM bowl with the ginger.
Combine 10 sec speed 3"Counter-clockwise operation" , scrape sides of bowl and repeat until necessary until combined.
Cook in middle of oven for 7 - 11 minutes (depending on size made) until light brown.
Tip
An easy to eat little morsel
If you like spice increase the ginger or pepper - or try a bit of cayenne!

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
