Absolutely delightful, glad to have found a recipie to use up our quinces.
Has anyone tried freezing this at all?
Delicious. Very easy to make.
Needed to use up a few home grown quinces. Very easy recipe to make, absolutely superb flavour. Will make again next year when we get more quince.
We are on a farm, and have an abundance of quinces each year, making paste is time consuming, so, i am very happy to have found this recipe. Thanks for sharing .
I make this every year.
I love the taste of this not too sweet, just right.
Thanks for sharing recipe
They Want more
We working on a farm that has its own orchard & of course Quinces. Was wondering what to do with them when I found this recipe we have had it two nights in a row & they want more it the best so they say so thankyou for giving me one way to use them up.
This is better than any apple crumble I've ever had! It was delicious and can't wait to make it again.
This was great! We made it in a large corningware dish, with the base buttered but it still was difficult to get out in one neat piece like in the picture, although I used gluten-free flour, which may have contributed. But that didn't really matter, it still tasted delicious. Delicious with cutstard, which we made in the TM while the crumble was in the oven. Serves 6-8 generously.
Far too sweet for my tastebuds, maybe my quince was too ripe. I cooked mine for 45 minutes in order to get the pinkish colour. Otherwise a fantastic recipe, thanks
Yummy and easy to make
