Ingredients

Seeded anzac biscuits

  • 100 grams Butter, Soft unsalted
  • 100 grams Soft brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tbsp hot water, Freshly brewed from kettle
  • 125 grams plain flour
  • 50 grams dessicated coconut
  • 100 grams rolled oats, (Not instant)
  • 25 grams pumpkin seed
  • 25 grams sunflower seeds
  • 25 grams sesame seeds

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c/160c fan forced and line 2 large baking trays with baking paper

  2. Place butter, brown sugar and golden syrup into TM bowl 100deg/1min/spd 2

  3. Place hot water and bicarbonate into small bowl/cup/MC and mix to dissolve

  4. Add bicarb water mixture to melted butter mixture. Mix 5sec/spd2

  5. Add remaining ingredients. Mix Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 20sec/spd2. Scrape down sides and mix a further Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 10sec/spd2.

  6. Spoon rounded tbsp size mixture into wet hands and roll in to balls. Place onto lined tray. Flatten slightly with a fork.

  7. Bake approx 8-10 minutes untill golden. Bake further 1-2 minutes if you prefer a crunchy style biscuit.

  8. Let stand on trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack for further cooling. Biscuits will be soft initially buy will harden with cooling.
