I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Add the melted butter, confectioners' sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice into the Thermomix bowl.
Mix for 10 seconds on Speed 3, using the spatula to help combine. - Add nuts:
Add the pecans, walnuts, and almonds into the bowl.
Toss for 5-10 seconds on Reverse, Speed 2 to coat the nuts in the spice and butter mixture. Scrape down the sides of the bowl if necessary. - Cook the nuts:
Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the coated nuts onto it, spreading them in an even layer.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking, until the nuts are golden and crisp. - Cool and store:
Once cooked, transfer the nuts to a sheet of waxed paper or parchment to cool completely.
Once cooled, store the nuts in an airtight container.
Tip
Tips:
You can also use a food dehydrator if you prefer not to use the oven, setting it to a low heat and drying for several hours.
If you prefer a softer nut texture, reduce the roasting time slightly.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
