I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Blitz Tim Tams 5 sec, sp. 8. Set crushed Tim Tams aside. Rinse bowl if desired (not necessary).
Melt butter and condensed milk 2 mins, 60 degrees, sp. 2. or until butter and milk have melted and combined.
Put crushed Tim Tams back into bowl and mix with butter and condensed milk 10 sec, "Counter-clockwise operation" sp. 3 or until combined. Place into slice tin and into fridge for 2 hours or until hard.
When slice has set, grate 150gm of chocolate 5 sec, sp. 9. Then melt for 2 mins, 60 degrees, sp. 2. Scrape down bowl and repeat 2 mins, 60 degrees, sp. 2.
Place the remaining cooking chocolate into the bowl and mix 1 min, sp. 2 (no temperature). Pour melted cooking chocolate over slice and set for another 2 hours or until chocolate is firm. Cut into slices as desired.
Method
Tip
You may prefer a slightly 'crunchier' slice, in which case reduce the amount of condensed milk. For a 'fudgier' slice, use more condensed milk (up to a full 395g can).
Add 5-10ml of oil of choice to the cooking chocolate. This may help with splitting when cutting.
Pour enough milk to cover the blades into Thermomix and heat 5 mins, 80 degrees, sp. 4 and clean the bowl with a hot chocolate!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is really nice texture, the blitz turns it into a fudge like consistency. Used the new Tim Tam's that are out (dark chocolate and Gisborne Orange).

Sorry for not addressing the questions earlier than now!
I have used 1/3-1/2-full tin (depending on how sticky you want the slice) of a 395gm tin of condensed milk. I've also used the condensed milk recipe found here: http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/basics-recipes/easiest-sweetened-condensed-milk/sdzqbhvq-80431-861924-cfcd2-3cms6al9
Hope this helps!
