Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

What is the most suitable size slice tray for this recipe?
This was very enjoyable & is very much like wagon wheel biscuits. I did take note of my fellow thermie user's comments and made a couple of adjustments. A little crumbly and fiddly to cut, though it's worth it to take your time with a clean hot knife for every cut. I'll definitely make this again. Thumbs up by all
Really nice tasting & easy to make slice but, the choc top failed for me so, I used a 200 g packet of milk choc bits & 1.5 tbspns coconut oil. Perfect. Will make this again. 10/10 from the "Wagin Wheel" freks in this house!

I have made this twice. I also found the biscuit base too thick. Second time around I made a 3/4 batch of the base and next time I think I'd halve it.
Second time I also used whole marshmallows rather than halves, and used enough to almost cover the top (I would have completely covered it but I didn't have enough) before heating for 5 minutes rather than 3.
Overall though, it was very well received.
Kids said actually tastes like wagon wheels. Made with GF flour no problems. Must wait until it sets, is no good warm!
Thank you very much what a great , tasty slice and so quick to make
Love it!
This was fairly easy to make. I used home made raspberry jam. Very yummy
Will be making this again!!
My base was a bit thick but I think my slice tin was a bit small. A larger one would have seen it spread out further. I also used whole mashmallows rahter than halve them
Thismwas nice, not as sickeningly sweet as I thought it would be. I only used 60 g of sugar, GLuten free flour in the base, whole small marshmallows on top and more chocolate ( half again). Took it to work to share and it was very popular
